While we aren’t (yet) the largest travel group working only with a
select number of one of a kind properties in the
world, we are quickly growing in that elite marketplace. And while we
aren’t the oldest on-line travel company around, our foundations are
strong and include numerous specialty sites working
in other specialized leisure travel markets. All in all the combined
buying power and destination expertise allows us to offer our
customers great rates and outstanding service !

carefully handpick the properties we offer.
We only offer a limited number of resorts and a handful of special
one-of-a-kind properties because we believe it is ultimately important
for our staff to be very knowledgeable about each of the properties we
offer, plus, quite frankly, many other resorts don’t reach the level
of excellence and the value:quality quotient we feel comfortable in
offering our
customers!

The history of Roads
Less Taken begins in 1999, specializing exclusively in Destination
Weddings and Honeymoon Destinations. By 2000 we became one of the premier specialist
agencies in Dallas/Fort Worth. In 2001 we became a "serious"
contender, on the Internet, and in 2002 became one of an elite group for
agencies (worldwide) to receive a "Star Award" from Unique Vacations and a
rating from Sandals and Beaches Resorts as "Best of the Best".
By 2003 Roads Less Taken also became one of the top ten sellers of Sandals
resorts (worldwide). In 2006 Roads Less Taken was awarded a PLATINUM
agency status for COUPLES Resorts in Jamaica. In 2006 the company's
President was award a "lifetime Gold Membership" as a Certified Sandals
Specialist and by 2007 the company's CEO
was award a "Lifetime Platinum Membership" as a Certified Sandals
Specialist ... and the beat goes on!
Located just outside
Dallas, Texas, Roads Less Taken has taken the lead in providing
experience, expertise and personalized services for the all-inclusive
niche market in our area.
To help insure our
ability to serve our customers with the most current information and
details available, yearly the entire staff takes numerous trips to our
offered destination resorts. We learn, firsthand what’s new and what’s
news.

The Moving
Spirits
Behind Our
Company
Our founder and Chairman of
the Board is Beau. He is one of our hands-on individuals who
has personally taken on the task of working one-on-one
as our “altar” alter ego, in the planning of your
destination wedding and honeymoon travel arrangements. In
1997 he founded the wedding magazine known today as The
Metroplex Edition of WEDDINGS Magazine and in 1999 was the
driving force behind the development and start-up of
Weddings & Honeymoons Travel. With excellent knowledge of
the wedding industry, destination weddings and honeymoon
destinations, like his wife Carol, he works side-by-side
with the entire staff on a daily basis. Beau has authored
dozens of wedding-related articles, authored over 100
published travel articles and, as
“Da Wedding Guy”
answered thousands of
etiquette questions coming in from all over the world!
Carol Nanni, CTC, is
President of Roads Less Taken and a hands-on executive with
dozens of years experience in the travel industry catering
to some of the most discriminating clientele. She brings her
professionalism and service-oriented ethics to the
day-by-day work at hand, and is in charge of the day-to-day
operations of our specialists. Carol is as likely to answer your call as anyone else in the company! As a certified travel
counselor, certified destination specialist and certified resort
specialist Carol is at the forefront of her industry and her firm belief
in personalized attention sets the standard for our operations.

the resorts. On a weekly basis we are doing
business with the General Managers, Sales Managers, Food & Beverage Managers
and Wedding Coordinators; by phone, fax and email, helping to
insure these high-end resort KNOW YOU ARE COMING (first hand) and KNOW of
any special requests or wedding conditions you may have.
When
you make your reservation through us you receive ALL THE BENEFITS offered by
booking directly with the resort or through other
agencies or on-line reservation companies.
