Interior architect Jeffrey Beers created a sensory journey of color,
sound, movement and beauty within The Cove. Under the sway of
towering palms, step out into the porte-cochere and be immediately
captivated by irresistible views of the sea beyond. Move into The
Nave, the resort’s temple-like open-air lobby, to stand in awe
beneath a dramatic 35-foot teak ceiling showcasing the genuine
energy and spirit of The Bahamas.
Inspired by the beauty of its surroundings between two of the
world’s most spectacular beaches, The Cove thrives on the rhythm of
the day. While its ultra-pool and exclusive beach club create a
seamless day to night experience, its breathtaking ocean views and
balmy open-air architecture embrace nature’s most compelling
elements creating a seductive and indulgent experience.
Enveloped in tropical foliage amidst the resort’s exceptional water
garden of lagoons, lilies and African cichlids, meandering walkways
of cool stone and dark wood lead to The Cove suites. The journey has

Atlantis is a fusion of experiences where the bright-sun beach day
merges with the fragrant, mysterious night. Where lounge meets pool.
Where earth and water come together. Where sound and light are
choreographed to rise and retire with the moods of the day.
Day breaks at The Cove with a soft, upbeat ambience - soft yellow
and orange hues mix with soundscapes of strings, piano and
delicately layered vocals. Beautiful, serene.
Afternoon gives way to space cast in vivid blues underscored by
uplifting, bright melodies with a touch of bass rhythm.
As evening arrives, the colors turn to rich reds and magentas. With
the tilt of an hour-glass signaling seven minutes until sunset, the
magnificent Distribution of Light ceremony begins. Lighting wands
from an eternal candle, Cove Ambassadors ignite hundreds of candles
throughout the resort as the last grains of sand fall through the
hour-glass. Night has arrived. A rhythmic groove blends with the
ocean breezes.
By 3:00 a.m. the candles go out and the reds and magentas begin to
cool again into soft yellow and orange. Opera music floats
throughout the sanctuary of the open-air spaces. The Cove staff
begins to lay out sumptuous spreads for the morning repast and
prepare for yet another day of discovery.

A glass bridge spans delicate waterfalls protected by towering
