Blancaneaux Lodge is located just outside the town of San Ignacio in the  Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve of Belize, which is approximately two hours from Dallas, Houston or Miami by air.

A delicately balanced mix of luxurious comfort and natural beauty makes Blancaneaux Lodge a truly enchanting experience.

Francis Coppola Two-bedroom Villa (1)
Find dramatic views from the impressive open-air living area. A kitchenette and table seating 14 adjoins two large bedrooms with full bath.  Francis's personal art and antiques are displayed throughout.

Two-bedroom Villas (6)
Skirting the Privassion River, the roomy 1,600 sq. ft. villas features a large comfortable open-air living room with kitchenette.  Off the living room are two luxurious bedrooms, each with its own full bath.

Family Cabana (1)
The spacious Family Cabana is well-appointed with a large table, queen-size bed, a pair of twin beds and the charm of a hammock.  A large screened-in porch overlooks our beautiful gardens.

Honeymoon Cabanas (2)
Perched over a Privassion River waterfall, the Honeymoon Cabanas offer the ideal getaway.  Choose between a huge private deck overlooking the falls or your own private garden paradise.

Riverfront Cabanas (5)
An expansive deck with wrap-around walkway ensures a dramatic view of the Privassion River.  Elegantly themed with native art and local textiles, each cabana offers a queen-size bed and hand-painted tile bath.

Garden Cabanas (2)
Nestled in our carefully manicured gardens, the comfortable Garden Cabanas showcase  native arts and antiques, plus a large screened-in porch with hammock.

Restaurant & Bar
Classic Italian cuisine, including made-to-order brick oven pizza, is featured at the comfortably elegant Montagna Restaurant.  Enjoy drinks in the Jungle Bar before your meal or after dinner.

Privassion River
Tumbling directly through Blancaneaux, the Privassion River thoughtfully leaves crystal clean pools along the way that are ideal for swimming.  The more adventurous can traverse a length of the river in search of a private riverside picnic spot.

Riverside Spa
Relax in Paradise.......enjoy a dip in the massive hot pool followed by a traditional Thai massage.

Horse Stables
Our own horse stables allow you both convenience and the assurance that your riding adventures meet Blancaneaux standards.

Organic Garden
Our impressive organic garden features acres of vegetables and herbs, plus fruit and nut orchards.  This garden provides up to 80% of the produce for both Blancaneaux Lodge and Turtle Inn.  Additionally, our carefully maintained chicken coop provides fresh eggs daily.

Gift Store
Tour the crafts of Belize and its neighboring countries through our gift store.  Eleanor Coppola personally gathers many of our offerings in an effort to ensure your access to the best native fabrics and artwork the area has to offer.

Hiking & Biking
Miles of trails await your visit to Blancaneaux and the surrounding 300-square-mile Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve.  Pass through diverse environments as you travel in the footsteps of the ancient Maya people.  Spot iguanas, rare howler monkeys and butterflies, along with an impressive list of birds that call the area home.  Complimentary mountain bikes are provided.

Adventures abound in the surrounding 300-square-mile Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve and beyond.  Some of the most extensive Mayan ruins in Central American are a short drive away.  Walk, horseback ride or bike in the steps of the ancient Mayans or explore pristine rivers by canoe.
