GETTING
THERE
The gateway to King Pacific Lodge, Vancouver International Airport, is
served by many major U.S. and international carriers. From Vancouver,
guests take a flight to Prince Rupert on the north coast of British
Columbia that takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. The resort's
floatplane charter (included in package rates) meets you in Prince
Rupert for the spectacular 40-minute flight to the doorsteps of the
lodge.
The flight
departs Vancouver early in the morning and most guests choose to
overnight in Vancouver prior to their stay.
Special arrangements for hotel accommodation at the airport or in
downtown Vancouver can be arranged for our guests.
OPTIONAL
airfare from Vancouver to Prince Rupert is available
at a current rate of $300 USD per person for roundtrip flights.
For guests
arriving in privately owned aircraft,
Prince Rupert has a 5000-foot runway, complete with re-fueling and
hangar facilities. U.S. residents may clear Canadian Customs and fly
directly to Prince Rupert by calling 1-888 CANPASS. If you are
arriving from outside of North America, you can clear Canadian customs
in either Vancouver or Victoria. All guests arriving in personal
floatplanes are asked to please contact the lodge so that proper
arrangements can be made.
