Blue
Haven Hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood just outside
Tobago's capital, Scarborough, on a 15 acre / 6 ha oceanfront
property at Bacolet Bay along the southern shore of Tobago. Blue
Haven is bounded on three sides by the ocean and offers the
convenience of close proximity to many of Tobago's attractions: the
town centre, the market and cultural sites.
The
idyllic, natural beauty of Tobago's landscape combines the charm and
scenic splendor of all tropical islands... Unspoiled beaches, coral
reefs, fort ruins, a rain forest, waterfalls, exotic flowers and
trees, bird life and some of the friendliest people in the world,
ensure that you have a complete vacation experience.
Immediately after entering the hotel site through an almost hundred
year old palm alley, the Blue Haven vacation in paradise begins with
a warm welcome and a chilled tropical fruit or rum punch as guests
check in.
Buffet Breakfast is served in the restauraunt or later on the
terrace overlooking the ocean. There is Bar-B-Q at the beach for
lunch and at the dusk you can enjoy cocktails at the lounge/terrace
bar before moving on to dinner in the colonial style villa. The menu
features a combination of international gourmet cuisine with West
Indian ingredients and spices.
Relax
by the pool or take swim at the hotel's romantic beach, where
according to Daniel Defoe's book, Robinson Crusoe was stranded on
the 30th of September 1659. The anchor of his ship can still be seen
on the hotel site.
You
can play tennis, work out in the gym or get a relaxing massage. We
can arrange for you to play golf on one of the islands golf courses,
which are just minutes away from the hotel. Transportation is
available and included in specific golf packages.
Personally guided rain forest hikes and bird watching tours are
organized for the Eco-Tourism oriented traveler. Scuba diving and
snorkeling at different coral reefs will be arranged as well as deep
sea fishing...
Or
just lie down in a hammock, enjoy the lush tropical vegetation and
azure blue ocean, listen to the waves and do... nothing at all. |
