Palm Island offers tennis, hiking & jogging trails, bicycles, an
open-air fitness center, guided island walking tours and a 9-hole
“putt-and-pitch golf course Palm Island style.”
Water
sports ABOUND on Palm Island. A scuba shop offers daily dives and
snorkel safaris. Sailboards, sunfish, and small runabouts are
available for guests' use. Sailing charters, day-sails, picnics, and
jaunts to neighboring islands are easy to arrange with the resort
staff. BUT , if all this activity is too much, just relax in a
palm-shaded hammock and savor the peace and tranquility. You can be
busy every minute
or do nothing at
all.
A
boutique, tennis court, and game room with Ping-Pong are just down the
beach. "Highway 90" is a walking, jogging, fitness trail around the
island.
Trails through the palm groves lead to the 24 beachfront cottages. The
deluxe rooms each have an overhead fan, king size beds, private
outdoor shower, refrigerator, coffee maker and patio.
DINING
Palm Island rates include breakfast,
lunch, dinner and all soft drinks, liquor and wine by the glass. Wine
and champagne are additional.
At the Royal Palm Restaurant, every gastronomic sense will be
satiated. A Caribbean evening out begins as the lull of the tide seems
to ebb and flow with the evening’s live entertainment.
Settle into the lounge for a pre-dinner cocktail and reconnect with
each other. As the gentle trade winds carry the scent of the evening’s
cuisine, you will want to find your seat to dine on our award-winning
chef’s preparations for the evening.
Grenadine’s Restaurant features intimate gourmet dining in three
different areas, ensuring guests’ ultimate privacy and maximum dining
space for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Yacht Club Restaurant & Bar, located beachside is smaller and
livelier, with casual grill-type fare and its own bar.
