Steeped in Caribbean texture and color, our Ocean View rooms blend architecture with nature.

Inside and out, our Ocean View Rooms offer unique Caribbean privacy, yet are only steps from the large freshwater pool.

Nestled between our marina and pool surrounded with colorful, palm fringed gardens are Peter Island's Ocean View rooms with picture perfect vistas of romantic sunsets, blue waters, and sailboats lazily drifting by in Sir Francis Drake's Passage. 

Each of the thirty two air-conditioned rooms have a private outdoor area surrounded with clusters of tropical plants and palms.  They are conveniently located near Tradewinds Restaurant, bar, and lounge and only a short five minute walk from Deadman's Bay beach.

Four accommodations are in each unit - two up and two down.  The floorplan is designed to take advantage of "Ocean Views" with wide French Doors opening to spacious patios and balconies overlooking the gardens and Caribbean Sea.

Guests can relax in the large, overstuffed room chairs and recline in the comfortable deck lounge chair outside.

Ocean View Rooms on the second level have French doors opening to a private balcony with deck chairs. Inside, a ceiling fan whirls under lofty beamed ceilings and over a king bed (twins on request), desk, and oversized lounge chairs.

Each lower level room features a sun parlor with two lounge chairs flanking French doors leading to a garden patio.

Ocean View rooms are a few steps from Peter Island's brilliant blue swimming pool.  Take a swim, relax in a poolside chaise lounge, and order a refreshing tropical drink from the bar.  A perfect day in paradise awaits you at Peter Island.

The Suites
Nestled in a sanctuary of natural beauty, our Beach Front rooms nurture your mind, body, and soul.  The crescent shaped Deadman's Beach lies just beyond the private terraces and balconies of our spacious Beach Front rooms.

Every evening, the lapping waves lull you into peaceful slumber and each morning the early Caribbean sunlight eases you into a new day.

Relax in a spacious Beach Front Junior Suite and soak in the luxurious Jacuzzi tub for two.

The golden roofs of Peter Island's Beach Front Suites peak through coconut palms at the far end of one of the most stunning beaches in the Caribbean.  These very private accommodations were completely redesigned in fall of 2001 and feature luxury furnishings and two person Jacuzzis with ocean views.

Each suite is surrounded with tropical gardens and has a balcony or patio overlooking Deadman's Bay and the British Virgin Islands beyond.  Hammocks sway gently in the cool breeze and invite guests to relax and pamper themselves outdoors as well as within their elegant accommodations.

Suites provide spaciousness as one area easily flows into another.  Wide French doors open onto a patio or balcony with a table and deck chairs; the king sized bed resides in a nook across from the large sitting area.  A romantic Jacuzzi, wide enough for two to sit side by side, is the highlight of the bathroom complex.

The open floor plan takes advantage of the Peter Island's tropical setting.  Large windows and doors bring the outdoors in to match the furnishings with subdued palettes of sunny yellow, gold and Caribbean blues.  Ceiling fans whirl over the bed and living area to supplement island breezes, or optional air-conditioning can provide cool refreshing temperatures.

Euro shower and spa combinations include the Jacuzzi tub and double headed shower fixtures on both walls of the walk through shower.  A large window separates the Jacuzzi from the bedroom and provides ocean views while lavishly soaking.  Bathroom interiors surround guests with imported Spanish tile and original stonework laid by one of the island's endearing staff members, Hugh "Benji" Benjamin.

The interior design team combined formal, period furnishings with Caribbean comfort.  Rooms display an array of fabrics that may be interchanged to vary the décor of rich, soothing colors.

The mini-bar contains a refrigerator and coffee maker next to the guest closet.   A large desk and mirror completes the decor and provides a place to read the Peter Island Resort guest information folder and write postcards about your vacation in this enchanting part of the world.

The Villas

Peter Island villas add a touch of restful solitude to your Caribbean experience.  Located on hills, they offer grand vistas, and invaluable privacy.

The Hawk's Nest Villa was completely transformed during 2003 and now has three bedrooms, four baths, a spacious living room, media section, kitchen, and large sun deck with dipping pool.

The Crow's Nest Villa suspends you between the paradise of the island and the heavenly skies.  During 2003, this villa was completely transformed into a new Luxury manor with a grand living room, spacious sitting areas, four bedrooms each with deep soaking tubs and separate shower.  Guests will have a personal steward/chef and island rover to explore Peter Island.

Raven's Nest
Peter Island's villa estate, Raven's Nest, consists of two separate villas designed in the time-honored Caribbean-plantation style, is set into the crest of a hill overlooking the beach at Deadman's Bay and its stretch of pure white-sand beach bordered by coconut palms with Tortola in the distance.

Its classic-Caribbean atmosphere - created by an Old World fireplace, gallery-quality art, and Oscar de la Rente furnishings - is apparent the moment you enter the lofty portico of the main building.  The sumptuous living room, contains indoor/outdoor relaxation areas, a large gallery dining room, a home-theatre, two kitchens, and three bedroom suites, including the 2,100 square-foot master suite with a luxurious bath and breathtaking views.  Three more bedrooms are located in a separate villa that combines a mountain setting with panoramic vistas.  An outside bar, layered patios, and three pools all serve to blend the villa's sumptuous interior with the natural glories of its surroundings.

Falcon's Nest Villa Estate
High on the peak of a hill overlooking White Bay beach, with views on a clear day to Norman Island and over to distant St. Croix, this spectacular villa estate consists of three separate residences, designed in the Barcelona style.

Indigenous stone, massive wooden beams, and hand-stuccoed walls give a garden-villa atmosphere to the interior, while an enormous wrap-around verandah, outside bar, cabana and three pools, all take advantage of the astonishing 180-dregree views.

The main villa contains a large entry hall, a spacious living room, two kitchens, and two suites - including a lavish 2, 250 square-foot master suite, equipped with its own foyer, office and bathroom with indoor/outdoor bathing facilities.  Connected by winding stone paths, the other villas hold two suites each, both with extraordinary facilities and incredible views.
