FINE DINING PAGE - POINT GRACE - TURKS & CAICOS

Our culinary mission is to blend the authentic Caribbean cooking styles with a contemporary flair and delivery without compromising the uniqueness of the cuisine. Modern nutritional and presentation principles will be incorporated. Our menus will feature fresh ingredients from the islands, as well as, imported "farm fresh" items carefully selected and the cultural influences from this region have set the culinary stage for centuries.

Grace's Cottage, the elegant restaurant at Point Grace, is poised to take its place on the Caribbean culinary landscape. Seating just 62, the restaurant serves light, gourmet Caribbean-Asian cuisine that showcases the region's strong ethnic influences and finest indigenous foods. The aim is to establish Grace's Cottage as the island's finest dining experience.

Like Point Grace, Grace's Cottage is an architectural gem, replete with bright white gingerbread trim and fretwork against shades of peach/coral with lime green touches. Grace's Cottage features picturesque outdoor seating under gazebos, on the terrace and directly under the starlit sky. Just indoors is a magnificent space featuring a mahogany bar, antique yellow walls and dark stained ceiling.

Currently, Grace's Cottage is open for dinner only. Breakfast and lunch continue to be served at Point Grace's Terrace by the swimming pool

The restaurant's teak tables and chairs are well spaced, affording guests a romantic and private dining experience. Equal attention is given to the table settings, which feature Villeroy and Boch china, Sambonet cutlery and Italian glassware on Egyptian cotton tablecloths. The sense of luxury and refinement extends even to the menu covers, which are hand-carved Indonesian wood frames

Most of the menu items change daily, affording guests an opportunity to enjoy "a romantic indulgence of exquisite island flavors". The emphasis is on fresh, full-flavored regional ingredients, including mangos, coconut, Kaffir lime and sweet yams

A sample of menu selections might include West Indian Pumpkin and Coconut Soup with Toasted Macadamia Nuts, Pan Fried Jerk Wahoo with Ginger Plum Sauce and Wrapped Seared Tuna with Sweet Yam Mash

A collection of exquisite and unique desserts, including Char grilled Peppered Pineapple and Swiss Chocolate Fondue with Exotic Fruits and Vanilla Crème Anglais, provide a fitting finale, as do a selection of specialty coffees

A sommelier assists guests in choosing exceptional wines to accompany the imaginative island cuisine. A full wine cellar, currently under construction, will complement the restaurant's current impressive collection
