Swimming Pool
The vast, deep-blue pool with an
"infinity" edge creates the illusion of being one with the ocean.
Adding to its splendor are a miniature waterfall, an island of
tropical plants, and natural-rock facing. Serenity reigns at this
magnificent pool area, in keeping with the atmosphere all around the
hotel. We offer bar service by the pool where you can enjoy our
delicious cocktails and all sorts of drinks ,the schedule of this
bar is 7:00 a.m to 7: 00 p.m. Ask one of our waiters for the lunch
by the pool.
Boutique
In our main building we have a nice selection of souvenirs, gifts
and nature books, also if you forgot your toiletries you can find
them here at the boutique of Hotel Villa Caletas.
Concierge Desk
There is plenty to do on the
surroundings of the hotel, from the most adventurous to the easy
pace ones from exiting rides between the Canopies of trees to
beautiful boat rides to a tropical Island with pristine waters. All
just a visit away from our staff at the concierge desk, they will
inform you and recommend the tours of the area and make your
reservation, or if you prefer they can arrange a relaxing massage or
transportation to anywhere.
Gym
A little sweat won't do any harm you
during your vacation, try our gym, exercise early in the morning or
in the afternoon, take advantage of this facility and enjoy a
universal machine, bicycle elliptical, weights and bench.
Caletas Amphitheatre
Dramatic describes the Greek amphitheater at Villa Caletas! Eight
lonic columns grace the 150-capacity structure overlooking the
Pacific Ocean and a primary forest. Concerts, arts performances,
weddings and private parties take place here during the year.
Beach
One mille away from the hotel guests
can enjoy Caletas beach, an hourly transfer will take you back and
forth starting at 9:00 a.m. or even better if you have your own 4x4,
you can go at any time to this wild, volcanic sand and very private
beach, equipped with sun beds and refreshing drinks out of our snack
bar to relax under the sun or under the cool shade. Find down here

Optional Activities
Carara National Park
This fascinating tour takes you into the nearby National Park for a
walk through the trails with a naturalist tour guide. Carara is known
for its diversity of flora and fauna, thanks to combined eco-systems
of dry tropical forest and humid rainforest. It is also home to a
large population of the rare Scarlet Macaws.
Mangrove and Crocodile Adventure
Explore the waterways and mangroves around the mouth of the Tárcoles
River. An experienced naturalist guide explains the importance of this
unique ecosystem, while spotting various bird species. In a boat
designed for optimum viewing, you'll cruise slowly along, and gasp
with wonder as you enter the habitat of enormous Crocodiles.
Canopy Tour
Experience the thrill of a lifetime as you traverse the tropical
forest on a system of cables and platforms. Aided by safe equipment
and expert guides, you climb to the treetops for a bird's- eye view,
then glide rapidly between each platform. Your knowledge of the
forest's canopy comes with a great adrenalin rush.
Horseback Riding
What better way to enjoy the lavish countryside? On horseback, you'll
cross mountains and pass through valley farmlands, with a treat for
the eye at every mile. This is an adventure for riders of all ages and
levels of experience guided by an expert trailblazer.
Sea Kayaking
Paddling through warm, kindly waters, you behold the beautiful scenery
of the Pacific coastline. Your kayak guide leads you to a great place
for snorkeling, where tropical fish will quickly surround you.
Manuel Antonio National Park
Monkeys, iguanas and sloths lure visitors to this unusual national
park, where the forest gives way to white-sand beaches. Your
naturalist guide takes you for informative walks along the park
trails, and up to a sea-scape lookout point. Leisure time is reserved
for the beaches and the inviting waves of the Central Pacific.
Arenal Volcano & Tabacon Hot Springs
En route to Costa Rica's most active volcano, you'll drive through a
scenic mosaic of mountains, rainforests and pastoral valleys. Arenal
volcano inspires awe with its constant, loud eruptions, and at night
you'll catch the fireworks display of exploring lava that tumbles down
the side. Time will be put aside for Tabacon Resort, where you can
rejuvenate in the thermal hot springs and magnificent gardens.
Poás
Volcano & Sarchí
The scenic drive winds upward to the heights of Poás Volcano, in the
verdant Central Valley. As you pass by the coffee plantations
carpeting the hills, your guide acquaints you with the importance of
Costa Rica's famous product. Arriving near the top of the volcano, you
approach on foot, and look down into a steaming crater considered to
be one of the largest in the world. Next comes a visit to the
picturesque town of Sarchí, an artisan center known for its colorfully
decorated ox-carts. US$80, full day.

Pacific Islands Cruise
The islands in the gulf of the Nicoya are the perfect spot for a day
of sun and fun. Aboard a comfortable yacht, you'll cruise the tranquil
waters of Nicoya Gulf, anchoring off the glistening beach at Isla
Tortuga. Explore your island paradise, go swimming and snorkeling, or
just doze in a hammock while the crew prepares a delicious lunch.
