Brown's Beach House
Award-winning Brown's Beach House is the place for the
quintessential island dining experience, located just steps from
shore. Chef de cuisine Etsuji Umezu creates innovative,
island-inspired cuisine featuring the best ingredients available
locally. Clean, exciting flavors with an emphasis on super-fresh
seafood prevail on the dinner menu; look for decidedly elevated
local-style cuisine on the lunch menu. Watch our culinary team at work
in the newly renovated exhibition kitchen. Exceptional nightly
entertainment by Hawaiian duos Nino & Kevin or Grant & Moku, plus an
entrancing hula dancer, make for an unforgettable evening under the

The Grill
The highly acclaimed fine dining menu created by Chef James Babian
is a feast of the world's most superlative ingredients, and changes
seasonally to best take advantage of nature's bounty. The result is
uncompromising cuisine that is a perfect union of contemporary,
innovative style governed by classical culinary technique.
Koa-paneled walls and elegant white linen; sensational wine lists and
service; a must for the discriminating diner. Nightly entertainment
provided by guitarist Charles Michael Brotman. The Grill is open on

The Orchid Court
The Orchid Court serves the best breakfast on the island, offering
a sumptuous buffet daily and a tempting selection of ŕ la carte items
from the menu, perfect for the dawn patrol or late risers alike.
Highlights from the buffet include delicious
chicken apple, pork link and Portuguese sausages; crispy apple wood
smoked bacon; a made-to-order egg station with omelets and egg
substitutes cooked any way you want them; bagels with all the works,
including lox and capers; freshly baked pastries, muffins and bread;
cereals; fresh tropical fruit and melon; yogurt; Japanese miso soup
and tsukémono; fresh fish of the morning; a potato dish of the day;
hash browns; and more, plus the chef's daily special which could be
crepes, Belgian waffles or macadamia nut pancakes. Steaming hot Kona
coffee, a selection of Fairmont teas and fresh juices are served at

Kahakai Bar
Kahakai means 'beach' in Hawaiian and
this new beachside bar features a Polynesian-style thatched roof,
refreshing trade winds and billion dollar views of Mauna Kea and the
blue Pacific. A variety of tropical libations and mouth-watering
pupus (appetizers) are served. - Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m. - Casual resort attire. Footwear and cover-ups are required. -

Ocean Bar
Take a quick break from the beach or
pool at the poolside Ocean Bar - the perfect venue for a most
refreshing afternoon, sunset or after-dinner cocktail. The Ocean Bar
is located near the entrance to Brown's Beach House. - Open daily from
11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Casual resort attire. Footwear and
cover-ups are required. - Reservations are not required.
The Sunset Terrace
Comfortable outdoor seating and
amazing ocean views are yours at The Sunset Terrace, located on the
lobby level adjacent to The Polo Bar. Light pupu menu is available. -

The Paniolo Lounge and Polo Bar
Enjoy a relaxing game of billiards or
board games in the comfortable and classy Polo Bar and Paniolo
Lounge. Sink into a handsome, oversized leather couch or stroll
across our koa wood floors and belly up to the stylish marble bar to
peruse the pub-style menu for a casual snack. Indulge in a fine
selection of cordials, gourmet coffee drinks, spirits, desserts and
fine cigars. Live entertainment and dancing on Friday and Saturday

is acceptable at all times, collared shirts, shoes or dress sandals

Norio's Sushi Bar & Restaurant
Our newest dining venue, Norio's
Sushi Bar & Restaurant, is destined to become a favorite among
guests, visitors and locals. Master sushi chef Norio Yamamoto brings
such an elevated level of experience and quality to the Big Island
dining scene that we named the restaurant after him.
Located adjacent to The Orchid Court Restaurant,
Norio's will be open five nights a week from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.,
and will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The 60-seat restaurant
features an eight-seat sushi bar and an 18-seat private dining room
overlooking a serene koi pond.
Chef Norio's menu reflects a reverence for
traditional Japanese delicacies, including exceptionally fresh seafood
such as sea urchin eggs (uni), Hawaii-raised abalone, octopus (tako),
tempura dishes, sushi, sashimi, hot and cold appetizer selection, plus
tantalizing signature items and daily specials. Guests can sit at the
sushi bar to watch the lively sushi master create and entertain, or
choose to be seated in the private dining room. - Thursday -
