Spa Without Walls
The Fairmont Orchid unveiled the gorgeous new outdoor Spa Without Walls in December 2003. The new spa features 10 island-inspired waterfall massage hale, or houses, nestled among a flowing network of waterfalls, streams and lily ponds. An abundance of verdant tropical flora, including blooming orchids, towering banana trees, coconut palms and more, create shade and beauty at every turn. Walking into the new waterfall hale village is like walking into the Hawaiian rainforest -- without the rain.

The Spa Without Walls also extends to the water, where five new private oceanfront massage cabanas front the mesmerizing Pacific Ocean. Here, the gentle caress of tradewinds and awe-inspiring views are part of every treatment. Hawaiian-inspired prooncept provides a full-service facility with private outdoor venues that allow nature to contribute to your wellness treatment.  Outside, choose from five oceanside cabanas, three waterfall tea houses and two garden teahouses.  Indoors, there are six treatment rooms, a steam room and separate dry sauna plus a boutique featuring spa products.

The Spa is open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

Reservations are required. Normal hours for massage appointments are between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Appointments that extend past our normal closing time are subject to an after-hours fee of $20. The last appointment ends at 10:00 p.m. Most services can be provided in the comfort of your guest room for an additional $25. Rates do not include taxes or gratuity.

Cellulite Treatment
(80 minutes - $190)
Application of products to promote detoxification including a seaweed wrap that aids in reducing water retention and improving skin tone. (A series of three is recommended).

Slimming Treatment
(50 minutes - $129)
A re-mineralizing and refining wrap that acts on random excess fat cells. Perfect for counter-acting vacation over-indulgence!

Hawaii's Big Island Vanilla Coffee Exfoliation Treatment
(50 minutes - $129)
Stimulate your senses with Big Island vanilla coffee mixed with orange creme lotion to exfoliate and soften your skin, followed by a 25-minute massage with a vanilla lotion.

Hawaiian Body Glow
(25 minutes - $75)
An invigorating skin rub using Hawaiian honey and herbs.

Exfoliating Body Polish
(25 minutes  - $75)
A treatment to smooth and soften the body by removing dead cells and promoting circulation to the skin.

Fango Wrap
(50 minutes - $129)
A purifying Fango Mud rich in minerals and trace elements that nourishes, re-mineralizes, and balances the body.

Spa Sauna Wrap
(50 minutes - $129)
A moisturizing, warming white clay enriched with essential oils that calms and feeds the epidermis, while relaxing the body.

Rehydrating Aloe Body Wrap
(50 minutes - $129)
Cooling instant relief of sunburn and restoration of moisture to the skin. Excellent for dry skin!

Shea Butter Treatment
(50 minutes - $130) 
A highly nourishing, deeply moisturizing body treatment, excellent for mature skin that has perhaps seen a little too much sun.

Hawaiian Revitalizer Wrap
(50 minutes - $129)
Using our unique blend of local traditional Hawaiian medicinal plants this wrap relieves tension and stress while nourishing the skin and promoting circulation.

Full Body Treatment
(80 minutes - $185)
An exfoliating body polish followed by a full body wrap. During the wrap you will receive our face treatment, scalp massage and foot massage. An application of body moisturizer finishes the treatment.

Decleor Face Treatment
(25 minutes - $85 / 50 minutes - $129)
Decleor skin care products are applied to cleanse and nourish the skin. Interspersed with massage of the face, scalp, feet and hands. A truly pampering experience!

Fitness Center
Featuring a fully equipped fitness center, beach activities and an indoor/outdoor spa facility, you can keep active at The Fairmont Orchid while enjoying the natural beauty of Hawaii. Choose to take a dip in the oceanfront pool or rejuvenate yourself at the unique Spa Without Walls.  The resort also offers a variety of fitness and relaxation classes such as:  daily seaside yoga, meditation, vision fitness, pool aerobics, health walk and art classes.  - Open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The 1,708-square foot Fitness Center is situated close to the oceanfront pool, with pool and ocean views and the facilities include the latest equipment:

If you are interested in adding a splash to your workout, The Beach Club provides snorkel and kayaking equipment and instruction as well as the ultimate, Hawaiian-style workout, outrigger canoe paddling.
