Pools
The Grand Wailea Resort's incredible water features offer both relaxation and fun. Our Activity Pool is for the kid in everyone, with waterslides, rapids, a rope swing and more, while our elegant Hibiscus Pool, reserved for adults, offers tranquil views of the Pacific and the chance to relax while basking in the sun. For the adventurous, try your hand at breathing underwater in our Scuba pool.

Hibiscus Pool
The 4,850 square foot Hibiscus Pool is named for the giant mosaic tile Hibiscus flower which graces the bottom.

The Hibiscus flower is made from over 630,000 pieces of Mexican glass mosaic tile. The entire pool contains over 2.2 million individual tiles, and features two Jacuzzis. This pool is reserved for guests 18 years of age and older.

Hibiscus Pool Cabanas are available by reservation only. Reservations can be made at the same time you make your room reservations and can be reserved up to a year in advance. Location cannot be guaranteed, but requests will be accepted.

Wailea Canyon Activity Pool
This multi-faceted, 2,000 foot long, 25,700 total square foot, 770,000 gallon pool consists of nine free-form pools at six levels, beginning at 40 feet and dropping to sea level. The pools are connected by a river that carries swimmers along at varying speeds, from white water rapids to lazy currents.

Wailea Canyon includes four jungle pools, four tile slides, a white water rapids slide, a Tarzan pool with rope swing, the world's only water elevator, a sand beach, six waterfalls, caves, three Jacuzzis, a sauna, an infant pool, and a swim-up bar, where guests can order refreshing beverages.

OCEAN ACTIVITIES

Kayak Tours
This snorkel and kayak adventure is a must for everyone. From the pristine cove of Wailea Beach, our ECO tour takes you along the picturesque South Maui coast, a sea coast of rough lava, which is only accessible by sea. Our tour features "Turtle Town" home of hundreds of endangered sea turtles, underwater gardens with large colonies of assorted tropical fish, and an ECO guide which can add insight to Maui's hidden world under the sea. All gear is included, tour is at least 3 hours.

Windsurfing Lessons
In just 90 minutes, we guarantee you'll be up and sailing. We begin with a 30 minute lesson discussing "wind theory" using our on-land Windsurf Simulator. Next, you take to the ocean for a full hour with our instructor. Definitely a "hands-on" approach to learning.

Scuba Programs
The Grand Wailea Resort is a PADI certified dive center and offers a number of SCUBA and SCUBA certification classes.

Golf
Wailea Golf Club, home of the Wendy’s Champions Skins Game, offers a choice of three championship courses, the Blue, the Gold and the Emerald. Wailea Golf Club is consistently ranked as one of the top golf courses in the state of Hawaii. The Blue Course has its own elegant clubhouse with full-service pro shop and practice facilities. The Gold and Emerald Courses share an additional clubhouse with a full-service pro shop, a teaching and training facility unlike any other in Hawaii, featuring separate chipping and putting areas, a practice bunker and a driving range with three target greens.

The Wailea Blue Course - "The Grand Lady of Wailea" is situated on the lower slopes of Mount Haleakala and was designed by Arthur Jack Snyder. This course offers stunning natural beauty and panoramic views of the island of Maui, the Pacific Ocean and the dormant Haleakala volcano.

The Wailea Gold Course - "Wailea's Rugged Beauty" designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. is the home of the Wendy’s Champions Skins Game. This award-winning course features a rugged, natural design and is perfect for those players seeking a fair, but challenging golf experience.

The Wailea Emerald Course - "Wailea's Tropical Playground" was also designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr... This fun test of golf can be a true enjoyment regardless of skill level. The course offers panoramic views with lush landscaping and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean...

Camp Grande
It is all at Camp Grande - a fun, spacious and friendly mini-resort for kids 5 to 12 years old! The 20,000 square foot facility is designed to accommodate the whim of every child and their parents. Fun and exciting activities range from learning to make a Hawaiian Lei and dance the hula, to playing ancient Hawaiian lawn games, kite making and storytelling.
