Open late 2005 is the new Ocean Crystal Chapel*.
This beautiful chapel will be the first free-standing resort chapel in
Waikiki . It will seat up to 70 guests and offers panoramic views
through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. You will be enchanted with the
lush landscaping and cascading waterfalls surrounding the chapel.
Fronting the chapel and situated in a shallow lagoon will be the
wedding gazebo that will offer an additional ceremony option or the
picture-perfect location for photos.
We also offer special wedding packages and services to make planning
an easy process. To help you prepare for that special day, make an

The new Ocean Crystal Chapel*, situated in a lush garden setting
amidst cascading waterfalls and a
lagoon, will provide an enchanting wedding experience. The wedding
Chapel is scheduled to open late
this year. Guests will see panoramic
views through floor-to-ceiling glass windows from the second level. The
first level will offer an inviting observatory-like glass entrance
that leads into the wedding boutique where future brides and grooms
will be able to meet privately with their wedding
coordinator.
If you wish to have a more intimate, private ceremony, we also offer
other outdoor venues, in-room weddings and receptions.

To ensure
that the requirements of Hawaii State Laws are met, we suggest that
you contact the Marriage License Bureau before you arrive. You can
request an application form from the Marriage License Bureau before
you arrive. Then, both parties to the marriage must appear before the
marriage license agent. Applications may not be mailed to the agent.

License in Hawaii
Both parties to the marriage must
appear personally before the marriage license agent. Proxies are not
allowed. Applications may not be mailed in to the agent.
The marriage license is good for 30
days from and including the date of its issuance, after which it
becomes null and void. The license must be used only in the state of
Hawaii.
There are no residency or citizenship
requirements.
The legal age to marry in Hawaii is
18 years. However, with written consent of parents, legal guardian or
family court, a couple may marry at 16 or 17. Marriage is allowed at
age 15 with written approval of the judge of the family court. The
parents or guardians do not have to reside in the state of Hawaii.
Consent forms may be obtained from the marriage license agent.
Proof of age is required in the form
of a certified birth certificate for anyone under 18 years. For 19
years and over, proof of age may be requested in the form of an I.D.
or driver's license.
Cousins may marry, but a blood
relationship between prospective bride and groom cannot be closer than
first cousins. For example: Uncle-niece, half-brother-sister may not
marry.
