Dolphin Encounter
The Hotel's 26,000 square foot natural lagoon is home to six Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. The Dolphin Quest trainers offer daily education programs where guests can experience these animals up-close, and understand what makes them unique.

At Kahala Mandarin Oriental, Hawaii you have the chance to have face-to-face, in-water contact with these intelligent and most fascinating creatures. The encounter gives guests an unforgettable glimpse into the lives of dolphins, considered to be the animals closest to humans in their mental ability.

Reserve your space early to take part in this intimate introduction to these incredible animals. Dolphin Quest, Inc. donates a portion of the fees from interactions to organizations in support of marine education, conservation & research.

Kids Club
"Keiki’ is the Hawaiian word for child, and at Kahala Mandarin Oriental they have their own special club. It’s the perfect place for 5 to 12 year olds to learn about our beautiful islands and rich Hawaiian culture in a safe and fun environment - while Mom and Dad relax.

The fun begins on arrival when children from 1 to 12 years old are presented with a Keiki Passport. The children collect Hawaiian-themed stamps as they encounter different experiences throughout the resort. These stamps may then be redeemed for prizes upon departure.

Activities for Keiki's include:
Reef walking
Snorkeling
Legend storytelling
Bamboo pole fishing
Lei making
Hula Dancing
Crabbing
Observing Hawaiian marine life
Hawaiian Art

Half or full day programs of exciting activities are available.
