FINE DINING PAGE - THE ROYAL HAWAIIAN - OAHU

Surf Room

Situated alongside that fabulous strip of white sand that made Waikiki famous, The Surf Room offers elegant simplicity in dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Those who have enjoyed a leisurely meal in The Surf Room will attest to the dining room’s reputation of being one of Waikiki’s not-to-be-missed culinary experiences.

The Surf Room is renowned for its delectable Friday night Seafood Buffet. An elaborate a la carte menu featuring "Flavors of Hawaii" is also offered.

Sunday Brunch in The Surf Room is a favorite among the malihini (newcomers) as well as the kamaaina(longtime residents). Seating for the Sunday Brunch begins at 11:00 am with the buffet open until 2:30 pm. It is recommended that all guests enjoying the brunch be seated no later than 2:00 pm.

Mai Tai Bar

Offering a breathtaking view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head is the Mai Tai Bar. Circular in shape, the bar seats 20 with additional seating provided on the Terrace. The mai tai tropical drink recipe is reputed to have been refined here. Enjoy your favorite beverage with our selection of unique hot and cold appetizers.

The Mai Tai Bar also offers "pink beer" exclusively on tap. Masterfully crafted by Keoki Brewing Company on Kauai, the Hawaiian Sunset Pink Beer is a smooth drinking beer flavored from fine Pilsen malt with a dash of light caramel malt and a mild hop finish.

Musicians play Hawaiian music from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. nightly. Soloists perform 8:30 to 10:30 pm Monday, Friday, and Saturday.

Royal Hawaiian Luau

Only The Royal Hawaiian can present such a tropically elegant luau. With a backdrop of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach, your evening begins with Hawaiian melodies and refreshing Mai Tais or Luau Punch on the Ocean Lawn, where each guest is greeted with a lei.

Royal Hawaiian Beach Club

The staff of The Royal Hawaiian Beach Club awaits the opportunity to serve you in an attentive style reminiscent of the 1920's and 30's. In the heyday of luxury steamship travel to the islands, our "beach boys" were the unofficial social directors of our stretch of Waikiki Beach. They attended to the varied wishes of guests desiring to become skillful in the art of surfside activities.

When it’s time to take a break from swimming or the sizzling sun, The Royal Hawaiian Beach Club is the perfect place to have a snack and watch the world go by. Relax by the pool for breakfast, light lunch or afternoon snacks. The Beach Club Cafe is conveniently located by the pool and beach, with soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages available daily.

The Monarch Room

This grand room is transformed periodically into a salon showcasing the Island's brightest musical talents. It is also available for special events including wedding receptions, award banquets and much more.
