FINE DINING PAGE - HALF MOON RESORT & VILLAS

With a wealth of dining options, guests will have ample opportunity to explore different cuisines, tastes and settings such as an elegant and romantic dinner for two al fresco at the award-winning Sugar Mill Restaurant; a refreshing buffet breakfast on the Seagrape Terrace or the easy atmosphere of the resort's weekly beachside barbecue.

Tall, cool drinks, tropical concoctions and light snacks are served up each day at Half Moon's award-winning bars. Scattered throughout the property, each bar has its own picturesque views and unique personality.

Half Moon is pleased to offer guests six gourmet restaurants, with all but one on the resort's property, and half of a dozen bars to choose.

Dress Code for restaurants is casual elegant (no shorts, no jeans, no T-shirts for Dinner).

The Seagrape Terrace
Kissed by gentle sea breezes, the Seagrape Terrace beckons guests throughout the day with promises of delicious lunches, traditional afternoon tea, delightful snacks and, to complete the day, gourmet dining and after dinner drinks al fresco.

Early morning risers may enjoy freshly-brewed Blue Mountain coffee and a light, a la carte breakfast, while others might sink their teeth into one of the Caribbean's most elaborate breakfast buffets with freshly squeezed juices (including watermelon and mango); a selection of traditional international hot and cold entrees, and a clever display of fresh local fruit, cheeses, breads and pastries.

Il Giardino
This tastefully decorated restaurant is ideal for a starry-eyed dinner for two or a gathering of friends and loved ones. Created by Italian chef Giorgio Rusconi, the authentic Italian menu offers a wide variety of Italian "Antipasti" or appetizers including a tower of Buffalo Mozzarella, Fresh Tomato and Parmesan Cheese; rustic pastas and smooth risottos; a selection of popular meat dishes including the slowly-braised Osso Bucco; local and imported seafood, and for dessert, Tiramisu and other Italian delights.

Seats 60 - Dinner only and reservations required.

The Sugar Mill
Attracting celebrities from all over the world, this gracious retreat offers a magical setting complemented by gourmet contemporary Jamaican cuisine, and live music.

Reminiscent of days gone by, the adjacent working water mill still gently turns as it has for over 200 years. Take a walk over and see the original stone structure that is now used for the most romantic dinner for two or exclusive dinner parties for a maximum of 12 guests.

Beautifully situated on a gentle slope overlooking the resort's world-class golf course, The Sugar Mill Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and is available for private parties and wedding receptions.

Seats 140 - Lunch and Dinner, and reservations are strongly recommended for dinner.

Royal Stocks
Inspired by one of the oldest of English traditions, The Royal Stocks is a fun place to relax and enjoy traditional pub fare in a Tudor-style setting. The name "Royal Stocks" honors the visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip and the "stocks" reflect a type of public humiliation in medieval Britain.

Seats 60 - Opens at 9:00 a.m.
