Grand Velas offers several options for meals included in a guests´
stay. Additionally, those not staying at the resort can make
reservations at Grand Velas´ two fine dining restaurants, which
offer uncommon character and impeccable cuisine.
AZUL RESTAURANT
Is an all-day casual restaurant, located at the pool area under a
wonderful Palapa and offering a panoramic front ocean view to the
Banderas Bay. An innovative take on traditional International
cuisine. Delight your palate by ordering in any of our five open
kitchens with Chinese, Japanese, Mexican and Italian specialties, as
well from our delicious grill menu with special fine cuts and
seafood, while enjoying one of Vallarta’s famous sunsets. A real
“Gastronomic Festival” Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner
from 7:00 Am to 11:00 Pm. Casual clothing required. Capacity for 252
people.
FRIDA RESTAURANT
Her name evokes magic and mystery, in it nests the deepest Mexican
Flavors. A palate of aromas and flavor, which mix culinary delights.
Every dish is full of art, color and awe. From yellow to purple,
from tomato to thyme, Frida´s cuisine is a masterpiece that enriches
our vast culinary heritage. Menu samplings include: Pork Roasted
Filet with Eucalyptus honey on green applesauce, and Volcano Mousse
and Salmon Roll served on lobster tail and chili cascabel sauce.
Open daily from 6 Pm to Midnight. Air conditioning and terrace.
Resort Casual attire required (no shorts, sandals). Capacity for 112
people. Live music. Located on the second floor above the lobby with
front ocean view.
LUCCA
Serving flavorful Italian-Mediterranean cuisine, Lucca invites
guests to an elegant experience on a sea of culinary delights. The
Romanesque design only hints at savory meat, pasta and seafood
dishes that awaken diners´ appetites. Dishes include: Agnello de
Lucca; roasted leg of lamb served with eggplant caviar marinated
with thyme infusion sauce, Robalo al Duo di Pesto; Roasted Sea Bass
au Pesto, and a Basil and Black Olives sauce on bed of Ravioli and
mushrooms.
Open daily from 6 Pm to Midnight. Air conditioning. Resort Casual
attire required (no shorts, sandals). Capacity for 124 people. Live
music. Located on the second floor above the lobby with front ocean
view.
WINE
Frida and Lucca offer one of the most extensive collections of
International wines in Nuevo Vallarta. Each restaurant’s sommelier
can guide diners through the world’s appellations and assure the

SNACKS AT POOL AND BEACH AREA
For your convenience, our waiters will gladly offer and serve you
snacks and drinks at the comfort of the teak wood lounge chairs
located at pool area. Or if you prefer the sand, at the golden beach
area. Service available from 11:00-19:00
AQUA BAR
The swim-up bar provides guests the option to drink and snack with
convenience. During the day, those taking a dip can swim over to the
cabaña bar for a refreshing afternoon tropical drink. Open daily
from 11 AM to 7PM
LOBBY BAR
At night, the Lobby Bar comes to life with luscious libation and
appetizing edibles. Gathering point per excellence. Live versatile
Band and Jazz Music nightly from 11 Pm to 1 Am. Air conditioning and
terrace. Casual ambiance. Lobby Bar opens daily from 5 PM to 2AM
