Good Wish Mayan Ceremony
The "Good Wish Mayan Ceremony" is
essentially a reconfirmation of the wedding love vows. It is
beautifully performed by a local cofrade. The ceremony involves
several Mayan symbols, objects and rituals , in an absolute communion
with nature. The ceremony is on the beach and it is performed in
Mayan. The music of the language itself gives the experience a truly
romantic touch. Guests will receive a written translation of the
speech in English. The bride is dressed in a hand-made Mayan dress and
the groom wears a white "guayabera".
