including the Master and the Bali Suites. Each suite is individually
created in an eclectic and elegant style incorporating design
elements from around the world: Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian,
African, Balinese and Asian. With each decorative piece hand-picked,
every suite has a comfortable but extraordinary atmosphere; sure to
stimulate the 'decorating bug' in each of its visitors. The hotel's
exterior reflects the Mayan culture and architecture that is the
hallmark of the Yucatan Peninsula.
The highest expectations of international travelers are met with

plunge pools, while the upper levels feature terraces with umbrellas

The 82
air-conditioned suites each feature a living room with beamed cedar
ceilings, overhead fans, cool unpolished marble flooring, and an
adjoining bedroom. The en suite bathrooms feature deep marble
soaking tubs, separate showers, and handcrafted sinks. Each suite
faces the ocean and has large glass doors opening onto a private
outdoor terrace which features a table and chairs for outdoor
dining.
36 of the suites are on the garden level and enjoy a small plunge
pool; Upper Suites have a terrace complemented with either a sun
lounger or hammock, and offer superior views of the sparkling
Caribbean.
All suites feature a fully stocked bar, dual telephone lines with
Internet access, and televisions with DVD players for films and
music.
The seven Master Suites
offer a living room and two spacious bedrooms, each with their own
luxurious marble en suite bathroom. These suites are ideal for two
couples.
Three of the Master Suites have tiled plunge pools in the privacy of
a lush garden.
At 275 square meters
(3000 square feet), the Bali Suite is the resort's largest 'home
away from home', offering guests the comfort and elegance of a
Mexican casa richly accented with distinctive antiques and fabrics
from Indonesia. The Bali Suite has two bedrooms, each with its own
living room with private entrance, and its own individual terrace
and pool, ensuring the ultimate in privacy and spaciousness.
The dining room features a beautiful handcrafted marble table on
Balinese lion heads, and is attended by a personal butler who caters
