FINE DINING PAGE - PARAISO DE LA BONITA RESORT

Paraiso de la Bonita's entrance, with its soaring thatched roof, rich terracotta-colored walls and hand-hewn timber columns, frames a startling view of the resort's swimming pool and the turquoise Caribbean beyond. The Main House's open courtyards, with overflowing reflecting pools and intricate mosaic pathways, lead guests beyond the metal papel-picado artwork and a hand-carved fountain with six sculpted Mayan jaguars, to the resort's restaurants and salons.

Taking advantage of the rich culinary traditions of Mexico, the finest influences from Europe, and the abundance of fresh seafood and other produce available, dining at Paraiso de la Bonita, under the direction of our French chef, is offered in The Restaurant, with its hand-painted murals and patio terrace. Adjoining it is the outdoor Grill, for broiled seafood and meat, and La Canoa, the resort's elegant dining room. Drinks, refreshments and conversation are enjoyed in the Library Bar. The open-air huano-thatched Pool Bar next to the pool serves drinks throughout the day.

Both of our Restaurants are under the supervision of our French Executive Chef Fabrice Guisset.

Paraíso de la Bonita Resort & Thalasso features the most spectacular wine cellar at the Mayan Riviera

For guests preferring to dine in the intimacy of their suites, on their balcony overlooking the Caribbean or under the stars, private dining is available 24 hours a day.

The Restaurant and Grill
With brightly tinted hand-painted murals, The Restaurant features Mexican and international cuisine. The Restaurant with its patio terrace is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and next to the terrace is the outdoor Grill, which serves freshly grilled meat and fish for a casual al aire libre luncheon overlooking the sea.

La Canoa
La Canoa, the elegant dining room, is open in the evenings for dinner, and specializes in creative fish and seafood cuisine prepared by chefs in the open tiled kitchen.

There is also an extensive cellar from which guests can select their favorite wine.

Library Bar
Just beyond Reception is the refreshing indoor Library Bar, where guests can enjoy drinks and also the resort's extensive collection of books on Mexican architecture, culture and history. The library also stocks novels, games, and a selection of CDs for enjoyment in the suites.

Pool Bar
The outdoor swimming pool and terrace are at the center of the resort. The open-air huano-thatched Pool Bar next to the pool serves drinks throughout the day.
