When you are planning to have friends and family attend your wedding --
be careful
-- the resort you choose may not be "friendly" to guests -- the resort may
not allow children or singles and/or may have a Day Pass cost for ANYONE
not staying at the resort (who wishes to come and visit or who is planning
to attend your wedding).
Also, some
resorts will offer you a "Basic Wedding Package" but will start charging
you more money as soon as your guest count starts increasing above a
preset "maximum number of guests" ... ALSO ... where a resort states
"Couples Only" in nearly every instances this refers to heterosexual
couples (a man and a woman) and won't even allow "grandmother and sis" to
room together.
Where a dollar amount is noted in the "Day Pass" column (below on the
right) this is for guests who are NOT staying at the same resort that YOU
are staying at. The "Free Shuttle" column is for shuttle service between
resorts - in ALL instances, transportation between the arrival airport and
the resort IS INCLUDED in the cost of the resort.
